This Privacy Policy explains what information the Arrow Escape mobile game
("Arrow Escape", "we", "us") collects, why we collect it, and the choices you
have. Arrow Escape is an offline-first puzzle game; most of your progress
lives on your device, and only the data described below is sent to our
backend.
Information we collect
Account identifiers. When you play, the app signs you
in with Firebase Authentication — anonymously by default, or with Google
Sign-In if you choose to create an account. This creates a user ID.
Google account profile (optional). If you sign in with
Google, we receive your display name to show on your profile. We do not
store your Google password.
Gameplay data. Progress, levels, stars, XP, streaks,
achievements, and submitted results tied to your user ID.
Device integrity signals. We use Firebase App Check to
verify that requests come from a genuine app instance and to deter abuse.
Diagnostics. Crash reports and basic analytics events
(via Firebase Crashlytics and Analytics) to keep the game stable and
understand aggregate usage. These are not used to identify you personally.
How we use your information
To save and sync your progress across sessions and devices.
To operate competitive modes and verify submitted results.
To protect the game from cheating and abuse.
To diagnose crashes and improve the game.
How your data is stored and shared
Data is stored using Google Firebase services (Authentication, Cloud
Firestore, App Check, Crashlytics, Analytics). Google processes this data on
our behalf as our service provider. We do not sell your
personal data and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.
Data retention
We keep account-linked data while your account exists. When you delete your
account (see below), the associated data is removed from our backend.
Your choices and rights
Play without an account. Anonymous play keeps progress
on your device.
Delete your account and data at any time — in the app
under Settings → Legal & privacy → Delete account (or
Account → Delete account), or via our
web deletion page.
Children
Arrow Escape is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly
collect personal information from them.
